Unanswered Prayers

I have never had a broken bone or sprain or dislocation. Just stitches. I always wanted to have a cast. Get my friends to sign it.

*sigh*

I was never that cool.

I was never that cool, either. Thank goodness!

Casts are overrated. I used to say the same thing, and then I had my right ankle put in a cast for three weeks. Less than a month after I got my new car. So I learned to drive with my left foot.

What are your stitch stories? Stitches aren't necessarily "just stitches".

My only stitches (other than the ones I had from wisdom teeth extraction) are the result of a head-to-head collision while playing roller hockey.

His cheekbone into my eye.

Both of us lying on the pavement for I don't know how long.

Gash just under my eyebrow.

I still have a faint scar from where 8 stitches held my eyelid together.

I got stitches in my knee when I was five...my Dad sawed the middle bar
off my brothers bike to make me a girls bike. Not enough money back then to get my own. Anyway it had a sharp edge so when I hit the stump in the sidewalk my knee went into the bar. OUCH>>>>>>Then my head met up with a paint can filled with dirt.
My brother threw it at me playing war games. OUCH Again.....That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
